Morning!

I am hoping that someone can provide me with a formula that will provide the first date in the year. I am looking for a formula that will look at a certain cell and provide that information.

I appreciate your assistance!

Say that you have a date in cell A1.
The formula =DATE(YEAR(A1),1,1) placed in another cell will return the first day of the year of that date.

Note: if you simply want the first day of the current year, use =DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),1,1)
