I switched to ff 1.5 when it came out – runs great – just minor annoyances. For some reason the font size is tiny – I have to go into View and increase fontsize everytime I need to read something improtant. The font size reverts when ff is shut down.

Been trying to find out if there is an option to permanaently increase font size – any help appreciated.

Check your “font override” options in the following dialog:

Tools > Options…, Content tab, Fonts & Colors section, Advanced button

Is “Allow pages to choose their own fonts” checked? If so, then the problem is more likely with the pages you are viewing, or your monitor resolution (the higher the resolution, usually the smaller the characters) than with your Firefox settings. You could boost up the minimum font size and see whether that helps.

If that box is not checked, then try checking the box and see whether that helps.

I’ve seen the same problem a few times.

Today, I corrected the problem by rebooting.

Thanks – that was what I was looking for
