Today when I got into my gmail, the resolution got changed down to tiny print, just on the body of the email, the headers were just fine. Something that may be contributing is the fact, I have the touchpad turned off, but it keeps coming back to life, so whenever I get close to it, everything goes crazy. i set it off in settings, but it does’t seem to stay off. I use to turn it off in the bios XP, but haven’t figured out to do that in 8.1

Something to add to my last post. I just pass my hand over the touchpad, barely touching it, and it goes crazy

      Have you looked into Chrome?

Hi oldgeexer75, as your already using Gmail, I suggest using it with Windows Live Mail, here’s how to. 36801-WLM-Tips

I did find out that there is a switch on the keyboard that can turn the touchpad off and on. The tech at BestBuy showed me several things that helped.

I have basically gone to using IE for now. It works well and doesn’t give me any trouble. I will probably research the problems with FireFox at some point. I like GMail so will keep using that. I will check about Windows Live Mail as a backup.
      Thanks
