Firefox 1.0.3 and Mozilla Suite 1.7.7 have been released.

For Firefox, the majority of extensions work with this release but testing has revealed that the DictionarySearch and Conquery extensions do not work. There are probably a small number of other extensions that will also need to be updated to work with this release.

If you are interested in the technicalities, they contain some security updates plus Firefox bug fixes / Mozilla bug fixes.

firefox was finally fixed so you do not ent up with two versions in add/remove programs if you install ove ra previous version.

hope same fix is applied to thunderbird.

Updates for the few extensions that were broken by 1.0.3 are starting to come out. Updates are normally available by using the “check for updates” button. Alternatively you can check for updates at The Extensions Mirror or the recently re-launched Mozilla Update site.

One extension that I mentioned in my earlier post, DictionarySearch, has been updated.

Conquery has now been updated too. Nice of their creators to update the extensions so fast after a Mozilla/Firefox update. It’s amazing how quickly one becomes dependent on favorite little tools!
