A wagon maker and a farmer met in the valley on Christmas day. It was a good time to rest as their friend lived in a new town built upon a great hill of stone which they still had to climb. They wanted to give her a little bear as a gift.
What is the names of the wagon maker, the farmer, the friend, the little bear and the town?
Ursa Major, perhaps better than any other group of stars, shows that just about any shape one wants to imagine can be assigned to the constellation–a plow, wagon, coffin, bear, or even a reindeer, as the people of Lapland imagined the constellation.
I thought Ursula (little bear) and Ursa major (Big Bear) hence Goldilocks
Or am I looking for an alternative which I KNOW you like
I don’t think it’s me that is finding the alternatives here…. I find it quite interesting that you have related some items to star constellations, but no…nothing about this puzzle is in the stars!
CLUE: There are in fact 12 hidden names in this puzzle, and all are found using the same routine! If you can find one, you can find all 12!
(I thought I’d just start it off by asking for the obvious names – the people, town and animal names!)
Good luck with the clue!
