Financial Formulae (XL 2000)

Hi All,

I’m looking for a good online resource on financial formulae in Excel (required add-ins, description, gotchas, etc). The more extensive and thorough, the better. I tried a Google search but it yielded so many and diverse results I thought I’d drop a line here. If you have something to share I’ll appreciate it.

Spreadsheets were originally made for accounting and finance, but that doesn’t mean Microsoft Excel contains every financial formula.

One of the links John posted has a great Excel Function Dictionary. I DLed already.
What I was looking for is a site dedicated to financial formulas in Excel: the ones builit-in, the ones included in separate add-ins, maybe a description on the methods used by Excel to get the result and warnings on misuse of formulas (in case there can be any)… I now feel this might be pretty advanced to be found on the Net perhaps… I’ll probably have to resort to a good book.

You might also take a look at post 365442. Although document attached to that post is about field maths in Word, the section on financial calculations gives both the formulae and a description of the variables that are essentially the same as what Excel uses for the equivalent functions.
