I have a spreadsheet that was imported from another computer software. It contains information regarding payments. A person could have several rows of data. Currently, the spreadsheet will list the person’s personal info (name, SS) with one amount and the other amounts on a row by themselves. This is a large spreadsheet and I would like to know if there is a function to look for blank cells and take the data from the top cell and copy and paste it in the next cells so all the personal info is attached to every amount.
One person could have multiple lines or one line. They are running adjacent and the only gaps can be filled with the personal info from the record above.
