A free addon to enhance the file open/save dialog – FileBox eXtender – keep favorite folders at your fingertips

    From the homepage:

“FileBox enhances Windows by adding several advanced functions to the standard Open File and Save File dialog boxes. (Note that if a program uses its own “private” dialog boxes for these functions, you won’t see our FileBox buttons, sorry.)

FileBox adds two handy buttons to these standard dialogs. These appear on the right side of the Windows dialog box title bars. These buttons appear next to the minimize, restore, and maximize buttons with which you’re probably already familiar.”

This is a nice little utility Joe. It provides (for me) a lot of useful extensions, without the unnecessary bells & whistles and is unobtrusive. Also seems to play nicely with the O/S and other extensions I use.

Thanks, Joe. Looks like a keeper!

The push-pin button is very useful, and it alone makes FbX a must. For that purpose I used to use Deskpins, but this is much more convenient. The other features look pretty cool too, although I haven’t used them yet.
