    Hey There,

I have been searching the MS Knowledge Base, but I can’t find an answer to this.

We’ve noticed that when restoring files using the Windows 2000 backup utility, that sometimes the file dates are all changed to the current date when restored. This doesn’t happen consistently, which makes it more annoying.

I don’t know if using the restore option “always replace file” causes this date change or not?

Anyway, it is annoying for those that like to retain their original file creation dates.

Thanks for anything to offer on this.
