FEB 2025 W10 Updates – No monsters here

Last month I forgot to pause updates, so both of our machines got updated this past week. Both restarted OK. No issues so far.

That’s good to know going forward, but I do have a question: Did you get Outlook (new) as part of the monthly update, or were you blocking it with the registry entry and so you didn’t receive it? If you got it as part of the monthly update, did you accept it because you wanted to use it as a successor to Outlook?

Sorry, haven’t been back in a while.

I don’t think I got it. I don’t use it, but if I type “outlook” in the search bar it returns ‘Outlook (classic) app’. If I launch it, it wants me to provide an email addr to set it up which I don’t care to do.

As far as I know I don’t have it blocked. Looking at Update History all it shows in FEB is KB5051974. So, either I didn’t get it, or if I did I sure don’t know where to find it.
