I’m trying to use Win2K’s built in fax service, but I can’t get it to recognize my Outlook address book. It lists “Shared contacts” and “Main Identity’s contacts”–no mention of my Outlook contacts. I’m using Outlook SR-1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just a tip to further this discussion… if you are trying to view older Win95 FAX format files with the .AWD extension in Windows 2000, you can NOT, unless you use a 3rd party utility as Windows 2000 imaging doesn’t support the AWD format.

We were able to IMPORT AWD files into the PaperPort scanner software program, and then convert them to other image formats (i.e. GIF, JPG, BMP) for sharing with others. However, we first had to install a few DLLs into the WINNTSystem32 directory (see attached zip of these DLLs).

        Thought I would share…
