favorites (ver. 6)

I set up a computer for a friend and when she clicks on any of her favorites, the home page will just reload. Can not go to any of the favorites. Any ideas.

Ha, it was not so much of a solution, it was finally discovering what she did!. She wanted to add some favorites, so what she did was while on her home page she clicked on Favorites and then just added a name. `Amazon’, `arizona weather` `wells fargo` etc. Of course when she hit add it just added the `home page` that she was on…….. About 20 of them….
Hence when she clicked on any Favorite, it just reloaded the home page.

Oy! I learned in tech support that no matter what kind of quality assurance testing takes place, a user can break the software in ways that you never imagined.

Amen!!! Darn users just won’t operate the software in the manner designed.
