Never had the time to update w/ SP 1 & 2…OK I’m lazy. But the following problem just surfaced.

I inadvertently removed the program Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1. through the “add/remove application” in the control Panel.

I found out later on that one of my software would not run without this .NET program.

I then went into the Microsoft Product Support site and downloaded the .NET Framework Version Redistributable Package, in hopes of loading the .NET back into the system. Now, however, I am getting this particular message: Fatal execution engine error (0x7927baca). After I click ‘ok’, I get more error notices like ‘proceess ID=0x794 (1828)’ and ‘thread ID=0x790(1944)’

I then did a system restore to the day before this all happened…NO LUCK.

Can this be corrected w/o doing a Complete Restore? Please advise.
