Hi,
Quick Question just for interest sake:
I see Google mentions that for faster search results you can press F5, and avoid the Search Button! What is the difference between hitting Enter/F5 and clicking the Refresh/GoTo command buttons on the page? Is the keyboard really faster, and how?
Tx

Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |

AskWoody LoungerMay 13, 2005 at 7:12 am #947328Of course it is faster!
The keyboard is a lot nearer to your screen than Google’s servers are, therefore the information only has to travel a matter of inches rather than halfway round the world.
(Pressing return is exactly the same – ‘Search’ is the default button as it is the first in line. You can get exactly the same result by pressing return in this reply screen – with focus outside the entry field – the first button in line is ‘Check Spelling’ and that is what you get.)
