Some time I think this year or maybe in December I found an attachment for (I think) all e-mail programs but certainly Outlook 2003 to enable the extraction of embedded pictures from messages.
Despite using the integrated RAID (NVidia) in my new system the boot disks became degraded that I have now lost the reference.
What I can explain it was like a Plug-in that placed an icon on the toolbar, you simply highlighted the message and the picture .gif .jpg etc were extracted to that folder.
I have searched the forum and the web and cannot find any reference, please help

I posted a macro solution on the Outlook board that might provide part of the functionality you seek. See: Saves Pictures Embedded in HTML Messages (Post #626454)

There is some good news, I have had a look at your attachment and it could be what I want, I am currently working from an old rig. Will repost
We have been able to recover an Acronis image of the boot drive off my system (only 2 days old), I have decided not to go with the integrated RAID on my M/B. Neither the NVidia nor the Silicon Image. I have ordered an Adaptec PCIe card. I should be up and running in a few days and will be able to see what I have done with Outlook 2003.
        Thank you

        No computer means clean-up desk.
I found the save embedded pictures documentation on the desk, it is not the one you have written but in my opinion is worth offering as a free bit of code.
Generally I make a mess of this so I will try both ways of presenting the link
