I have four old backups of Outlook XP (2002) *.pst files, and I need to extract only the e-mail addresses.

Someone knows a free tool (not shareware or limited trial) that can do that job?

    Many thanks

Under the file menu there is an Export/Import command, I know this works in Outlook 2003. I rotate my e-mail files at the start of every year.

From the Contacts or from the email messages in one or more folders? For Contacts, see the post above about exporting (e.g., to Excel). Yes, you may end up with extra columns, but those are easily deleted. For extracting addresses from messages, I think code has been posted here in the past. The more folders, the more complicated it gets, and you need to think about de-duplicating the list…

I export the Contacts folder, which I use as the address book, I use comma delimator then import it into the new file.
This method brings in all phone numbers addresses etc.

I have used the Import/Export function > Values separated by commas (Windows) and obtained a Excel list with all the e-mails. Thanks for the suggestions.
