    Hello loungers
Does Word OXP still require an exclusion dictionary ..
An exclude dictionary contains words that the main dictionary recognizes as being spelled correctly, but that you want questioned during a spelling check.

When migrating to OXP from Word 97 can one rename the MSSP_en.lex to MSSP4_en.lex or something like that ?

    Thank you in anticipation.
    Cheers

Yes, Word 2002 uses an exclude dictionary. Type exclusion dictionary in the Answer Wizard and look at the subject titled “Specify a preferred spelling for a word”.

I can’t help you with the other question.

I think the answer to your second question is “you could try, but I wouldn’t expect it to work very well,” but… why do you want to bring over an old .lex file???
