I need to sort a lot amount of data by SKU number. The SKU are not all numbers there are some with letters. I want to sort by the first 2 characters only. How can I do this?
    THANKS!

Insert a column to the right of the SKU number.
Let’s say the first SKU number is in cell C2.
In the cell next to it, enter the formula =LEFT(C2,2)
Fill down as far as the data go.
Click somewhere in the inserted column.
      Click the Sort Ascending button.
(You can now hide the inserted column, if you wish)
