Excel sort list

I want to know how to back up (or copy to another computer) the customs sort list I stored under Tools – Options – Custom List.
I do not know where/how the sort list is kept, and I need to re-create it every time when I have a new instalation of Excel.
Thanks for any idea.

When you customise the toolbar Excel stores this information in the default worksheet, “BOOK.XLS” which is usually in the XLSTART folder in your Office setup. I guess a customised sort list that is attached to your toolbar would be kept here too. Worth a try.
