I am trying to import a worksheet from Excel 2003 into Access and my Spreadsheet Import Wizard has suddenly disappeared. I click File | Get External Data | Import. I change the “Files of Type” to Microsoft Excel and navigate to the spreadsheet in question. I click “Import” and nothing happens. It worked yesterday! Strange huh?
I opened a new blank database and the same thing happened. I looked in Tools | Options for anything that may have something to do with this import wizard without success. Any ideas on where to look are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

      Try this:
      – Quit all instances of Access.
      – Select Start | Run…
      – Type

      regsvr32 C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice11regwiz.dll

      – Press Enter or click OK.
      – Try to import a spreadsheet into an Access database.
