Ok, so I could insert a spreadsheet on my form as an OLE Object yesterday. But I try today and get
Systen Error &H80080005 (-21469593555). Server Excecution Failed.
Now I don’t speak that Type of language, so I am struggling a bit.
I have done the usual – repaired office, removed office, re-installed office, but is still comes up with the same error.

    I am using W2K SR2 with Office 2K SP1 and VB6.

Any help may just prevent a computer from meeting an early bath.

      Update

I have just found out that if I load Excel before inserting it, it inserts fine. Without Excel Loaded it shows the message.

      Not sure if that helps

I’m not sure I can help, but I can sympathize. I have strange occasional problems with automating Word 2K SP1 from VB6 SP5. Sometimes the “method ~ of object ~ failed” error appears. I can usually cure it by rebooting the NT4 SP6A box or launching Word and then closing Word. Anything is the MS KB about your error? shrug

Since this is the VBA forum, I assume you are inserting the xls using code. Post the code so we can see.
