Excel and Worldox (document management system) (Excel2000 SP-3)

Not sure if anyone can help with this or not. The law firm I work for uses Worldox as a document management system. While in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe, if a user clicks file open, Worldox should launch if it’s running. One user is unable to access Worldox when opening from Excel. Worldox is running, as all other applications function properly when he uses file, open. We’ve tried reinstalling Worldox and Excel, to no avail. Any suggestions?

Not sure how Worldox does this. Is it an add-in in Excel?

Check out a normally functioning system and see if Tools/add-ins reveals anything that might be related to worldox.

If so, check if the offending system has that add-in checked.
