My Excel 365, on multiple PC’s and laptops, scrolls much slower than an older version of Standalone Excel 2016.  Dragging the scroll bar on the right and attempting to scroll down or up quickly results in the data lines stumbling – the data can’t keep up with the scroll bar.  I didn’t have that experience with Office Excel 2016 (standalone version).

What causes that?  Is there anything I can do about that?  My newer PC’s and laptops have 16GB & 32GB of RAM.  Is this related to internet speed (is Excel 365 doing something on the internet as it scrolls?).  This can be very frustrating when I’m in a hurry.

MS keeps adding more useless code on top of previous code onto earlier code. This causes issues. But MS does not care.  There is nothing much to fix it unless you break the code down.

Only option is to use Open Office or Libra Office rather than MS Office. Try it since it is free and see if it works better for you. Otherwise, see if someone has a solution for you.
