    Hi All Excel Experts,

I have just edited an xlam file and reinstalled it. The VBA procedures within that file are working as expected.

However, now every time I close (exit) Excel I get the following error message:

    36767-20140412-Excel-Error-on-Closing

The Help on the error dialogue is, as usual, not particularly helpful:(

    36768-20140412-Excel-Error-Help

I’ve searched all the locations where file are located and saved etc under File|Options, including the locations of all Add-Ins and can find nothing amiss.

Any suggestions as to where to look or try next will be appreciated.

    Cheers

    Trevor

Diaable the Addins until you find the program you know causes the problem. you may have to change the setting (I presume it is protected) to allow it to be debugged so you can see the line causing the problem. That may help allow you to track the error.

[The error message sounds to me like the path and/or file is named correctly, but it is located where you don’t have access to it or it is read-only or something like that…]

It would be helpful to us to see the line of code that is causing the problem…

Upon closing, are any of the Add-in procedures coded to write/save data to a folder or file whose path may have changed?
