Warning: If you get a call from ETalentNetwork, HANG UP THE PHONE!

I believe that ETalentNetwork is not a legitimate recruiting agency. They are nothing more than a robo-call center, a “sweatshop”.

I received a call a couple of weeks ago from ETalentNetwork. They told me about a position locally where I live, and for which I would be paid about half of what I am currently making. I told them, Thanks but no thanks, because I don’t want to take a huge pay cut like that.

Since that time, ETalentNetwork has called me numerous times, each time telling me about the EXACT SAME JOB at the EXACT SAME RATE OF PAY. I tell them I’m not interested, because I don’t want to take a big pay cut. Yet they keep calling.

I have asked them to quit calling me, to take my name out of their database; yet they keep calling me again and again about the same job at the same pay rate.

    Be forewarned!

You have good sense. There are complaints about them on a few sites. I found an information technology pay complaint at 800notes, and another one which claims they are probably a front for another company. Try to setup a call block for their phone numbers. 🙂

For readers of these posts, a cursory search shows they have software/programming job postings on many of the online resume sites. Often I have seen many emails from people claiming to be a company representative trolling for a response, but never heard about getting a legitimate job offer cold call from any reputable company. Beware, Be Aware!

I blocked one of their numbers with my cell service. But they have at least one other number that they call me on. What I have done was that I saved their numbers in my phone’s address book, then set those listings to silent ring. But it then beeps at me after the phone quits ringing.

Sometimes they leave a voice mail msg. With some of these agents, you can hardly understand what they are saying, just picking up a word or two here and there.

Now ETalentNetwork is texting me about the SAME JOB that I have told them repeatedly to quit contacting me about! A real Mickey Mouse operation!

Two more calls this morning from ETalentNetwork!

I’ve reported all of the calls from ETalentNetwork on the Do Not Call website, including the two I got this morning — my phone number has been registered on that site since 2013.

Three more calls today from ETalentNetwork within an 11-minute time period, and three more reports about them on the Do Not Call website.
