Since our company upgraded to Excel 2007 in the last few months I’ve had 3 occassions where people are trying to insert a row into an old worksheet and get the following message:
“Cannot shift object off sheet”
The worksheets were originally created in Excel 2002 or 2003. My original solution was to copy & paste to a new worksheet (which solves the problem for some reason), but the file I’m working with today has many formulas linked everywhere… it could cause a problem to try this. Does anybody know why this is suddenly a problem now that we’ve upgraded to ’07?
