    hi all,new computer , manufacturer installed w7 home premium 64 bit. trying to install a genealogy program which used to run on win xp pro , using w7 compatabillity prog, tried runing in safe mode, as administrator but it will not install. keep getting errorr – 0x80040703, faild to find DLL function sfc. srSetRestorePoint. any ideas pleasee .thanks. cymro

      It would help if you were list the Family Research Program and Version?
      You might try “Right clicking” the setup exe and select “Run as Administrator”. This has worked on several genealogy programs. I have several install on both test and production machines.
