Word 2000 on Win98: I just wanted to verify my understanding of Applets in Word (or any other application). Someone asked me if it was possible to place the tools from the Equation Editor on the Standard Toolbar (or any other) in Word. My answer is that because Equation Editor was an applet, you could not put its tools into a Word Toolbar. Then I looked at TOOLS/CUSTOMIZE, and saw another applet, WordArt, as a possibility. IS THERE A WAY to put the Equation Editor tools on a toolbar in Word?

By going to TOOLS/CUSTOMIZE, you can put an icon on your toolbar to insert an equation, but there’s no way to put the Equation Editor menus or toolbar icons onto Word’s toolbar.
