    Is this formula available in Excel 97 or earlier versions? How about the =Year formula.

    I have set up a spreadsheet for a client (I’m using Excel 2000 SR-2) and she getting errors in the fields where I have these formulas when she runs it on her machine. It works just fine on my machine.

      You need to have the Analysis ToolPak AddIn activated to use those function. Goto Tools, Add-Ins, and browse through the list until you find it (it should be near the top), make sure it is selected. If you cannot find it there you will have to install it from your Office Installation media.
