Question: Why am I not getting a notification sent to my phone to finish setting up my account.? I know it’s the correct number. It’s my number. Thank you Pam

Possibly because we don’t require phone confirmation? (I don’t think we do.)

Uh, Paul, I think Pam is talking about the portion of the US’s IRS website that deals with submitting fillable forms at the following URL:

https://www.irs.gov/e-file-providers/free-file-fillable-forms

And here’s a snippet from that page:

For Tax Year 2023, this tax filing application operates until October 15, 2024.
To use the application, you must have a U.S. phone number that accepts text messages…

Methinks that she’s talking about that feature highlighted on their website, not here on AW. If that’s true, then this topic needs to be moved due to erroneous placement by Pam.
