Okay, so somebody sends me an office document via e-mail. (i’m using netscape mail, (NOT BY CHOICE!) ) When I click on the attachment, it opens the file in netscape, using the encompass plugin. I want to know, how do I kill this plugin? I want to see my docs in their respective programs.. not netscape..

    Any help?

I haven’t had a chance to check it thoroughly, but I think the same problem in IE was solved here.

I’ve attempted those fixes, to no avail… this is definitely a netscape issue.. please help!!! bow

Can you restore normal behavior using the Applications “tab”? Occasionally I have found the Edit button to be disabled, but it’s worth a try.

No luck, edit button disabled.. Remove is too.. bummer

So, if anyone has a fix, i’m all ears!

ALSO, does anyone know why the idiots at Netscape did not put a ‘recipient’ column in the Sent Items folder in thier mail program?????? And, if you can’t answer that, anyone know how to achieve the same thing or go around it?

I wonder if it’s server side.. 4.77 does not.. bummer

Try showing all columns by clicking the appropriate show/hide button. It is possible that recipient got “out of order” and you just need to drag it back over to the left.

Yep.. tried that, no luck.. shrug

              Any other ideas?

I found this really interesting looking product called, of all things, Digigami Plugsy (http://www.digigami.com/plugsy/index.html) with a 30 day trial. It appears to let you disable the plug-ins the Applications dialog does not allow you to edit. Maybe that will help you?
