    Hi,

If we are composing a large Word doc. with hundreds of Visio diagrams – how can I embed them in and control the file-size? I tried copy pasting, but after 50 Visio graphics, the whole operation becomes very sluggish. Just copying takes 5 mins!
I tried resetting the PC, no benefit.

To maintain page-numbering continuity, one needs a way of keeping things in order.

I tried copy+pasting from Visio into Word – isn’t there a way to “Insert File…”
When I tried inserting a Visio File, it gets converted into chinese!
    Is there some special converter?

    Pls. advise!!
    Thanks,

    m.q.

Sorry, I’m just on my way to pick up my mum, but I think what you need is to link to the file(s).

Hope this give you a starting point. I’ll check back tomorrow Oz time, if I get a chance.

I use Insert|Object and link to *.VSD file.

Have several docs that run many pages and never have prob with major delays. The pinter, HP Deskjet 6L, hesitates when it comes across a flowchart or drawing.. If I print to the HP 4000 on the network no probs.
