How does Publisher 2000 handle lnked graphics for web page creation? When the pages are converted to .html, are the files then embedded? If so, are they embedded in their native format (.jpeg, .tiff, etc.)? Or are they all converted to .gif (which is really the only Pub trait/function I dislike.)

Also: Is there a way I can insure that my web site visitors will see the fonts I design into pages, without having to use that select group of 11 primary true types? (& also without having to be converted to a graphics format.) Is there a way that the fonts I specify can be embedded in the web page file or on the end users PC, so that they view my font instead of a substitute (& so that the fonts aren’t converted to .gifs)?

    Thanks in advance.

Try looking at the source code behind the html. Its been a long time since I used Publisher for web design and I can’t remember how but I’m sure its easy to follow. You can do minor (or in fact major) tweaks with notepad once you’ve set up.
You’ll also see how its set up your fonts and pictures (always GIFs if I remember correctly).
You can change picture formats in Notepad too.

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
Your account can't use all available BBCodes, they will be stripped before saving.
