I got a few paragraphs into this..then realised..Edge! A Microsoft marketing strategy, overhyped..useless for people who don’t use the blasted thing. Convoluted..sigh..And it went on and on. One drive..same same. A positive…we aren’t forced to use either of them. I must say, well done you, though.

Except Edge is now Chrome, so it’s Google taking over.

Chrome requires an extension to get Workspaces.

Chrome and Edge are based on Chromium.  Edge is basically Chrome with built-in Microsoft-centric extensions.  No thank you very much, Microsoft.

We all have our own reasons for doing the things that we do with our systems; we don't need anyone's approval, and we don't all have to do the same things.

            … and less tracking:

            Privacy

Edge offers three protection modes from tracking – basic, balanced, and strict. Users can also allow individual websites to circumvent protection protocols for all three modes. They can look at the list of blocked trackers so that users know who/what they are being protected from.

It’s well known that Chrome leverages user data to tailor the data, search results, and ads appearing when they browse the internet.

Good article, but what if we don’t use Microsoft Edge as our main web browser? I am a Microsoft subscriber, but I MUCH prefer Mozilla’s Firefox – it’s much more user friendly and very customizable! How ’bout that same article directed toward Firefox users?

When I wrote this piece you could still share a collection by exporting it to OneNote; that definitely isn’t an option any more, making workspaces the only way to share a collection (open the collection, use the … menu to open all the tabs in a new window, turn that into a workspace and share it). Saved me lots of time again today!
