In the latest Windows Secrets newsletter article “Unlocking a read-only USB flash drive” by Fred Langa, Fred talks about “unlocking” USB drives, and doing so by adding a Reg key.

When adding munch, one is offered either 3 or 32 bit DWORD options. Do entries in the rgistry match the O/S, or, if for instance affecting Office, the bitness of that program — I run 64-bit Windows, but 32-bit Office, so which do I use?

    Regards,
    Chuck
