Protena DataMaker allows developers to quickly and easily generate bogus data records for database testing. It uses internal lists to create realistic names, U.S. addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, etc. You can also create custom data types, sequences, lists and formatting. The output can be generated as delimited files (comma or tab separated values), structured data files and XML. There is no limit to the number of records than can be created

At 15Mb it is a bit big for dial-ups but I shall give it a try at work when I need to dummy up for a new DB design.
