When setting up a second profile in a Dual Boot system in W7 is it necessary to install things like graphics drivers in the second profile since they’re already installed in the original boot system?

I know that aps need to be installed for each profile, but I don’t know what sort of things are global in nature.

    Thanx,
    zepe

Yes, you’ll have to install all necessary drivers. Dual boot is two completely separate operating systems. You can share files, folders, drives, partitions, etc that are common on the machine, but the operatings systems are entirely separate.

If you mean setting up another user account, that’s not Dual Boot. You don’t need to install anything to setup another user account.

Always create a fresh drive image before making system changes/Windows updates; you may need to start over!
We all have our own reasons for doing the things that we do with our systems; we don't need anyone's approval, and we don't all have to do the same things.
We were all once "Average Users".
