    It looks like the July 14 patch for the Surface Pro 2017 unexpected hibernation problem works. But there’s a large problem looming with backlight blee

      Here is a useful site so people can test their displays for backlight bleed (only the color black), http://lightbleedtest.com/

      Maybe it is an chemical adhesion problem because of a defective display assembly method? These folks should try this to see any possible difference in image quality.

      • The black backlight bleed test is not good enough for the new Surface Pro problem because it’s hard to notice at black and more prominent in blue white and bright colors. A better test would be the site  http://deadpixelbuddy.com/ .
