Just upgraded from NT4 to XP with new, much faster machine. I’d like to install Dragon Dictate v5, but I’m concerned about the XP speech recognition stuff. Should I try removing the XP speech stuff, or just ignore it and work through DD? Or am I asking for trouble? (More than the trouble one bargains for in trying to use speech recognition, that is). Thanks.

My daughter just installed NaturallySpeaking (older version 4.0?) under Win XP (home), without trying to remove any existing speech functions from XP. She has had absolutely no trouble. NS used to crash constantly under Win 98, now stable.
