Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
Does anyone have any recommendations for a free download manager compatible with FF1.5? I’ve been using Star Downloader with satisfaction, but it is not compatible with v1.5, and I somewhat doubt whether an unpdated xpi will be released for it. I tried FreshDownload, looks as if it might be OK, but there doesn’t seem to be way to get FF to use it for files for which there already is a plug in, such as pdf, doc or wav. Or is there a work-around for this?
