A while back someone here at AskWoody posted a method for downloading the ISO for any version of Windows. I believe it was from a site in Germany.

I have misplaced that info, and I now want to download a copy of 1909.

Can anyone tell me how to download a 1909 ISO?

The one I was thinking of was heidoc.net.

Go to heidoc.net, and download and install the “Microsoft Windows and Office ISO Download Tool”. Once you have installed it on your Windows computer or virtual machine, you can then very easily download different versions of Windows or Microsoft Office.

1909 isn’t quite ready for download yet – Microsoft hasn’t yet released it to the general public. However, you can download 1903 v2. That’s the one I’m going with.

You can get the “almost ready” edition of 1909 at heidoc.net, but I don’t want to deploy something that is “almost ready” to my customers’ computers. I prefer to go with 1903 v2, which in the words of someone I read is “fully mature”. I know that 1903 v2 is a lot more “ready for prime time” than 1909, so I went with that.

NO MrJimPhelps, the ACTUAL 1909 ISO downloads have not been posted yet by MS! the current Windows ISO download tool released today can NOT download the 1909 ISO files because they have not been released yet (hence the tool generates error 400/404 messages). so abbodi86 is generally correct…for now.
not until Tuesday November 12 – wait one more day for them to become available

now the actual 1909 ISO downloads are available and the Windows ISO Downloader tool has been recently updated once again that has the correct description of the 1909 November 2019 Update ISO downloads, which have build 18363.418.

But when obtaining 1909 thru Windows Update, the 1909 version from WU will have a higher build as 18363.476 from the newly released KB4524570 security update.
