Once again, there is probably a simple solution to this, but I can’t find it. I have created a custom toolbar for the user.

On startup and during use, it comes up and works great! However, I cannot keep the “Form View” toolbar from coming up. We close that toolbar, and leave only the custom toolbar visible, but when we get back into the program, viola’! The Form View toolbar is back.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

There are two approaches, which can be combined:
      – You can set a specific toolbar to be displayed for a form/report by setting the Toolbar property of the form/report to the name of a custom toolbar. This will suppress the built-in Forms/Reports toolbar. You will have to do this for each form/report you want to use the custom toolbar.
      – You can turn of built-in toolbars completely in Tools | Startup…

        Hans,

Thanks.. I could not find it in help, though obviously I was not searching correctly. I liked the help system in Access97 better, as I seemed to have better luck finding things.

        THANKS!

I agree, it is far easier to find things in Access97 Help. In Access2000 (and above), I usually find it helpful to call-up Help from the VBE editor; this includes more info than if you get Help from within Access.
