dlookup not finding records

All, I have a form that on the on update event of a dropdown list performs a dlookup of a record and populates the rest of the form. The code works great for most of the records but there are several that it will not find. I have done a field by field comparision of records that are found and ones that are not and there are no differences in the data. I have also confirmed that there are no duplicates in the field being looked up. I am using access 2007 with a database that is converted from 2003. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I don’t know. In my experience DLookup works reliably. If it seems not to be working I think there must be some difference in the data that you have not been ale to find.

Can you post a little demo for us to have a look at?
