Displaying Excel reports on A3 page

I have 5 detailed Excel tables that are quite different to each other which I want to display on a single A3 Excel landscape worksheet as a report.

I was wondering if there is a way to paste all the tables into the worksheet, so that the column widths etc.. don’t change?

I have tried pasting the tables into objects (bitmaps), but the text becomes fuzzy.

Basically I am looking for a way to display 5 Excel tables where the column’s don’t necessarily line up with each other.

You can use the camera tool for this.

To make the Camera tool available in Excel 97-2003:
– Select Tools | Customize…
– Activate the Toolbars tab.
– Select Tools in the list of Categories on the left hand side.
– Scroll down until you see Camera in the list of Commands on the right hand side.
– Drag Camera to a convenient location on a toolbar, for example next to the Cut, Copy and Paste buttons.
– Close the Customize dialog.

To use the Camera tool:
– Select one of the tables.
– Click the Camera tool.
– Activate the report sheet.
– Click where you want a picture of the selected range.
– You can drag the picture to the desired location if necessary.
– Repeat for the other tables.

I was wondering if you know of a way to keep the same printer selected?
I have a printer that prints A3 size, but for some reason, Excel keeps switching to the default A4 size printer.

I don’t think Excel stores printer info with the workbook, so you’ll have to select the A3 printer each time.

(If I’m wrong, I’m sure someone will correct me soon)

I am not sure of the VBA Syntax so I would suggest that you record a macro that would select the printer required on opening the workbook and another to restore to the default printer on closing the workbook.
