Is there an option to have specific information concerning a Folder’s contents displayed when you open a Folder? For example, I would like to have the number of files, and the size of the files it contains displayed at the very bottom of the Folder, rather than having to right-click and choose “Properties” everytime I want to view this information. I seem to remember that this was a default view in my Win 98 machine?

      Hi Jeff
Sure is. Open any folder. Choose View and select Choose Details. Next time you open it, have the Details option enabled.

Sorry, but I obviously didn’t make clear what I was asking. I normally have “details” as my default view for all folders. But that only displays the individual file information. What I am wanting to know is if the FOLDER’S detail information can be displayed, e.g., at the bottom of the window that includes the total number of files, the total size of all the files therein, etc. grin

Jeff, I believe what you want is the Status Bar under View> Staus Bar
