Does anyone get the following message?

The disk is full. Free some disk space on this drive, or save the document on another disk.
Try one or more of the following:
*Close any unneeded documents, programs and windows
*Save the document on another disk

    I am running Word 2000 9.0.3821 SR1, Windows 2000 5.00.2195 ServicePack1
I have approximately 20 gigabytes of free space and about 130 MB of RAM.

It only happens on some templates and usually if I rebuild the template I don’t have a continuing problem with it. I think it is something to do with the template but am not sure.

(Always happens when I have a deadline!!)

Check out KB Article Q224059 and see if it applies to your situation.

Some unusually large temp files in C:temp were responsible for my getting this message once. I’d check there first.

After I had Office 2000 updated to SR1a, I had the same problem. Because I thought it was the SR I uninstalled Office and reinstalled Office 2000 (without SR1a) and I still had the same problem. Then I uninstalled Office 2000 en reinstalled a full version of Office 2000 SR1a and the problem was solved!
I’m curious what the difference is between an upgrade to SR1a and a full version of SR1a, but nevertheless this might be a solution to your problem.
