I am curious as to what causes a discussion web to become corrupted?

Although my message board ran fine for 2-3 weeks, I’ve had to shut it down because new messages were getting mixed with old messages.

I tried recreating the tocproto.html file as mentioned in other posts, but it didn’t work.

I don’t want to make message board management my full time job.
