Disable Click for Switchboard Labels? (97 SR2)

Hello everyone…

Quick question… Is there a way to disable the option labels that are on the basic switchboard… One of my users is complaining that they accidentally click in the white space on the switchboard and it still performs the action for the associated button… I have removed the “=HandleButtonClick(1)” from the Click event of each label’s properties, but for some reason if I click the label it still performs the action… I’ve done all kinds of custom alterations to switchboards now but this one has me stumped… Am I missing something?

This is because the labels are attached to the buttons to the left of them. To make the labels inactive:
– Select all the labels (but nothing else)
– Cut them to the Clipboard (Ctrl+X)
– Paste them back (Ctrl+V)
– Drag them back to their original position (they will have been pasted in the upper left corner of the form.)

Make sure that you have cleared the On Click event for ALL labels.

Thanks a bunch! I thought it had something to do with the labels being attached but I never would have thought of just cutting and pasting them to break that attachment…. It would have taken me ages to figure out… Thanks again!
