Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
I ran the Direct X checker in System Information, and under the “Input Tab it reported registry errors and advised me to Re-install DirectX.
I downloaded the latest version from the MS site, and did the install. Still get a registry error reported as follows
Key ‘HKCRCLSID{92187326-72B4-11d0-A1AC-0000F8026977}ProgID’ is missing.
I’ve searched the KB for this error without success.
