My new computer has ME. My old computer has Windows 98. I want to use the direct connect feature and weird parallel cable to copy files from the old PC to the new. The connection is made with my old PC as host. My new PC gets a prompt for “Host Computer’s name”. I answer and it comes back with “cannot find host.” I got this to work once before between my old PC and a laptop, but it was hard. Any ideas?

if you are going to keep the old pc
you could network the two
